Governing nature by numbers - effects on biodiversity
My PhD project investigates how the EU Single Payment Scheme's regulations on tree density in pastures affect farmers decisions on pasture management and how that, in turn, affects biodiversity. It is a multidisciplinary project in cooperation with the University of Gothenburg, where the focus of my PhD is on the biodiversity values in terms of plant, bird and bat diversity. The study is conducted in the newly established biosphere reserve East Vättern Scarp Landscape in southern Sweden.
I am also part of the systematic review team in the Mistra Eviem project: Roadside management and the diversity and dispersal of species.
